Besenzoni al Mets 2023: the excellence of nautical accessories in Amsterdam

With over fifty-five years of history, Besenzoni on the occasion of the METS, which took place from 15 to 17 November 2023 in Amsterdam, stood out in the field of luxury nautical accessories with two distinct stands, demonstrating once again its dedication to innovation and the constant search for high quality.

Founded in 1967 in Sarnico, on the shores of Lake Iseo, Besenzoni has achieved the status of leader in the nautical scene thanks to a unique philosophy, a distinctive design and its ability to integrate both functionality and aesthetics within its products. Collaborating with the major brands in the sector, the company has developed a wide range of accessories, projects and patents that meet the highest standards of the nautical scene.

Besenzoni, with its presence in two key locations, has captured the attention of nautical enthusiasts and all professionals in the sector. In the Superyacht Pavilion, the Unica stand showcased the latest version of the P 463 Shark, the manual ladder in carbon and teak, and a gangway with a special eco-friendly Ropo Deck covering. At the Besenzoni stand, in the Italian Pavillon, the Ocean staircase, two new walkways from the BeElectric series, and many other iconic products of the company were exhibited.

This double presence allowed Besenzoni to highlight its vast range of products: the beating heart of the Unica stand, however, was the new P 463 Shark pilot seat. Its wide possibility of installation on supports with manual sliding or on a special support surface, make it adaptable to any space on large boats. The fixed backrest, the captivating design and the ergonomics designed precisely to guarantee unparalleled comfort, make this armchair certainly a must-have for long-range navigation.

Particular importance was then given to the walkway with Rope Deck platform, made of 100% polyester monofilament cordage. This material guarantees equal quality (in resistance, durability and beauty) to teak but is a more ecological choice which is part of a logic, increasingly important for the company, of reducing waste of natural resources, underlining once again the Besenzoni’s commitment to the topic of environmental sustainability.

At the stand in the Italian Pavilion, however, the company displayed a wide range of products with an unmistakable design that represent both the tradition and innovation of the brand. Among the new features, the two electric gangways of the BeElectric series stand out, which have expanded their range of lengths from 1 to 4.5 metres, responding to the different needs of the market. An innovative gangway was also presented, specifically designed for outboard boats, both newly built and already in use, thus highlighting the brand’s constant commitment to the search for tailor-made solutions that adapt to all the owners’ needs.

However, the new ladder/platform of the Oceano series was the undisputed protagonist of this edition of the METS 2023: extremely versatile in the role of embarkation/disembarkation and bathing ladder, it was designed to guarantee easy access to the dock and to the sea, already finding great interest thanks to the fact that it guarantees simple and safe getting back on board.
